Laura Kabwe
Head of the Femmes 360 Program (Female and Youth program), Centre d'Innovation de Lubumbashi (CINOLU)
I am an international law jurist and the Head of the Femmes 360 Program at CINOLU. My expertise lies at the intersection of community development, Youth and Women's economic empowerment, and regional integration.
I am proposing a talk on supporting entrepreneurs in accessing export and regional markets, specifically within the AfCFTA (African Continental Free Trade Area) framework. Drawing on my training experience with the ECoWYERT program, I will discuss practical strategies to overcome systemic barriers—such as business formalization, compliance with standards, and access to finance—and share insights on how to transform youth and women-led MSMEs into key players in intra-African trade.
